How we produce our honey
Making honey is a complex and unique process and is produced in several stages
On average, a hive will produce about 2040 Og of surplus honey each year. Beekeepers harvest it by collecting the honeycomb frames and scraping off the wax cap that bees make to seal off honey in each cell. Once the caps are removed, the frames are placed in an extractor, a centrifuge that spins the frames, forcing honey out of the comb.
After the honey is extracted, it’s strained to remove any remaining wax and other particles. Some beekeepers and bottlers might heat the honey to make this process easier, but that doesn’t alter the liquid’s natural composition.
After straining, it’s time to bottle, label and bring it to you. It doesn’t matter if the container is glass or plastic, or if the honey is purchased at the grocery store or farmers’ market. If the ingredient label says “pure honey,” nothing was added from bee to hive to bottle.
Always know where your natural honey bee products come from!
Honey bees get canvassed in dust as they gather nectar from plants, at that point they advance it with various ages, hormones and anti-infection substances, and store it in honeycomb cells. On the off chance that we extricate these bundles of dust out from inside a honeycomb cell, we get separated honeycomb dust or honey bee bread.
01. Flowers produce nectar and attract our bees
02. Bees collect the nectar and carry it to the beehive
03. Bees seal cells with wax and honey ripens
04. We collect the product and transfer it to the packaging
What our clients say
I visited New Jersey for a couple of days and stopped at Rice Village Flea market on my way to lunch. I loved the presentation of Honey Life Care and how friendly he was. Bought a jar of honey and a few flavored honey sticks.
I forgot I only had a carry on to go back to Jersey and of course security took it, thank God I had bought my flavored honey sticks. I LOVED the banana flavor for my morning oatmeal! I wish I could go back for more!
